Our systems and services are geared towards efficiently operating a diverse range of ship types of all sizes, including product and chemical tankers. The assets are manned, operated, and maintained to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Technical Management
Technical management encompasses all of the services that maximise the operational efficiency and physical condition of a vessel throughout its working life.
This is all managed by Beyond Compliance with the requirements of industry regulators and our ship-owning stakeholders. Service delivery is underpinned by a rigorous approach to safety, security and environmental protection. Expert staff utilise efficient operating systems based on the latest technologies and resources available for both shore and ship-based operations.
Crew Management
Crew management encompasses the recruitment, deployment, training, crew costs monitoring, and ongoing management of officers and ratings engaged on vessels under our management. We handle all recruitment through our office in Riga, Latvia and cooperate with selected agencies across the globe.
Montec recruits crew in all major crewing markets, including The Philippines, Georgia, Russia, Latvia, Panama, Lithuania, Estonia and Ukraine.
Montec manages its marine assets by focusing on quality and building up highly competent, motivated and loyal seagoing staff to operate its ships.
Vetting Management
We provide support for the updating of Safety Management System Manuals to reflect the latest industry regulations and recommendations and assist the owners in their TMSA compliance and audit preparation.
Oil majors’ requirements are amongst the greatest challenges in tanker shipping. Montec is one of the market leaders in tanker management and engages in a steady dialogue with oil majors and their vetting departments. Following the TMSA regime, Montec charts a course for steady improvement in accordance with the industry demands of today and for tomorrow.
