Montec Ship Management was founded in 2013
and specialises in oil and chemical tankers.

We provide our mother company, Monjasa Group, with a comprehensive ship management package covering technical management, crew management, vetting management & newbuilding supervision. All services are offered within a quality-conscious, cost-competitive environment.

Montec has a pool of highly qualified and competent colleagues on board and ashore together with advanced PMS systems integration, which provides the basis for Montec’s effective performance. The management team consists of ex-mariners, engineers and naval architects with vast experience at sea as well as in ship management offices.

Joining Monjasa in 2012, current Technical Director in Montec, Igor Bondar, was a driving force in establishing Montec and became the company’s first employee. Spending the last more than 30 years of his life in the shipping industry, including 13 years at sea, Montec’s fleet management rests comfortably with Igor and the rest of the Montec team.
